Day with mom and Angie

Got to go to Memphis with my mom and sister. We like to hit the thrift stores and see what we can find. I collect this green or amber glass for my kitchen so I am always on the look out for that and I found some today CHEAP, gotta love that :) I'll have to get some pics of them they are so cool and old.
I didn't do much on the way of creating anything today, got home late.

Sunday

I woke up late this morning missed church and it was so late that I didn't even have coffee ( What!) come to think of it I didn't have any today. That is like unheard of. I do not know how I am functioning.
I have been cutting out things with my little slice ( lovin' it ). I don't know why I would ever try to cut something out by hand again.
Planning on going to Memphis tomorrow for some supplies for my jewelry. I have got to get back to doing my t shirt designs. I've got to come up with a cute Christmas one.

Day of shopping with Billy

Today we went shopping and ran by Angie's. I got the making memories slice and the " just chillin" slice card. I want to get back to doing scrapbook pages that I hand do. Don't get me wrong I still love the digital ones but sometimes I want to create something with my hands. I have the machine charging now, it looks easy and fun to use. You know I had to do a search on youtube to check out how to use it. Before youtube I would have had to read the instructions on things now I just kick back with a cup of coffee or tea and watch others tell me what to do.
Youtube has saved me a fortune by checking out what others think about a product. If you haven't tried youtube you have missed out. I am thinking about doing some videos on some things that I could help others with.

New necklace

Tonight I have a necklace listed that I finished last night, for all the New Moon fans. Only a week and the movie is out, I wonder how many parties are planned for that.

Now I am adding digital cards to etsy. I need a name for the shop but for now I have 2 on my HST ink site. I will drive myself crazy trying to come up with a name for this one.

Photo session

This weekend I got to photograph my cousin's collage cap and gown photo. I enjoyed it, anytime I have a camera in my hand is a good day.
Brooke spent the weekend with us. She wasn't feeling too good, had inner ear. Needless to say I didn't force her to pose for me ( at first she asked me, then she didn't feel like it ). She is one of me models that let me blind her with the light kit while learning my lighting and settings for my camera ( she is so sweet ).
Went to Memphis to the MAC counter and got the limited pigment set ( very nice ) this will be the first pigments that I will have used, I've tried before but gave up too quick. I will be checking out the makeup gurus on youtube to see just what cool combos to use, Oh no, I just realized that the lady that helped me forgot my new shadow brush that I went for. I didn't see it on my reciet so that's good. We need a MAC here closer to where I live!! Oh and a sephora ( know I went there too ) I got some hair products from there.

Work and play

Let's see, Sunday went to church, then shopping with hubby, Monday went shopping with hubby in Memphis for some supplies, Tue went to Angie's with mom, I worked on some new jewelry and they worked on a few collars.

Today went to Angie's with mom and we did some work on supplies for a site. Now I've been listing some of the jewelry that I finished. I hate trying to describe my things. I could make things all day long and do the photos, but when it comes to the other I just want to skip it. I have found that some just talk about their day and everything else. When I purchase something I just care about the product not what shoes you were waring when you made it, unless they were very stylish.

Happy Halloween

We have our big dog Oreo put up so that he will not jump on people. He loves kids and he has no clue how to act, we have spoiled him. If he sees a child he will lose his mind, jump all over them knock them down. Hubby and I got a few Halloween decorations yesterday that were on sale, I put them out today, they were cute, now I get to take them down tomorrow. Oh well I will have them out for more that one day for next year.
I have sold a few things to my cousins where they were here ( that is always nice ) I also have a few orders. Now I am working on them.
I'm sitting here sipping on some coffee, checking out my listings on etsy, I need to up load some new shirts but I think I'll wait until Monday. I need to go and get my clothes ready for in the morning for church, I am bad about dragging around and missing church because I feel that I don't have anything to ware.

Hubby Day

I spent the day shopping with the hubby. I would have liked to have stayed home because of the rain.  He works all day so he had the day off and wanted to go to town, so I skipped the house cleaning and creating I needed to do thinking half a day, well it turned out to be all day. Oh well I will have to hit it early tomorrow, at least I got to spend the day with him.

And he tasted like black cherries

I've been working on some soap ( well if you can call it work when it's fun ). Hmmm I did not know that I needed to line my wooden mold with freezer paper first. I had to heat the mold in the oven to release the soap.
I didn't get to work on my other new project, maybe tomorrow.

I am as much into different teas as I am coffee. You can't get good tea here, you have to order it online. Well I take that back, I have run a cross a few at Marsall's ( I love that store ). Here in the photo I am brewing up some cherry tea. I looked hard to find Black Cherry tea after the Sex and the City where Carry meets " The Russia" and they have some with dessert. At the end he kisses her good night and she says " And he tasted like black cherries". Well I had to find some then.

Order came in !!!

My soap supplies came in this morning, now I can start making soaps like Lush has but with my own twist. I've also got something new that I have not tried to make, I'll show later, I am so wanting to go in there and get started but I will not allow myself fun time until I get this house clean. I have to keep telling myself  "NO" like a child at Christmas, I am a true crafter.

Beautiful Day

This weekend we had Brooke with us. We went to Cypress Park on Saturday, we walked to the tower to take photos.
I did a few new shirts this weekend but I haven't had time for photos.

It's been awhile

It's been awhile ( love staind ) but I'm back. I have been working on some designs, orders, and jewelry designs. I missed the jewelry end of my crafting, it has been years. When I found some boxes that had some of my old stuff, I had to get back to that too. I don't think that I should open different shops for everything I have, you know like spa ( my own Lush stuff ), jewelry, and clothes. I know that it takes all my free time trying to get the 2 shops seen, If I had more I couldn't have time to make my products.
Right now while I am typing this I am listening to a Lush haul video on youtube in the background, we do not have a Lush store here close to where I live. Though I make my own soaps and bath stuff, I have got to check out that store next time I go where they may have one.  Now this video has got me wanting my stuff for the new bath products to come in. 
I'm about to go and take some pics of the new design for t shirts and bags that I got screen printed earlier.

Day with hubby

Hubby and I went to church this morning. After that we went to Memphis so that I could get some supplies for my jewelry designs, I have tons of things coming from online but I wanted to get my hands on something today. I want to set up the torch and do lampwork beads again but it's too dangerous, and if it can go wrong it will for me. Then again I  have the screen printing, jewelry, soap & spa things, and pet supplies oh and my photography ( never give that up, love too much ). You could say that I love being creative.

I am sitting here typing this and watching my Coupling DVD. 4 years is not enough, I wish they would start it up again. I love brit coms, Ab Fab, Coupling,  are a few that I could watch over and over.
It was cold here this morning finally talked Billy into letting me turn on the heat. He stays hot and I stay cold but I do like the cool weather.

Facebook

I hate facebook but 4 different times yesterday I was asked if I had a page so I thought I would join again. And still it is crap, no music, video, you can't personalize your page, it just really sucks as much as it bites when you can't be artistic with your stuff. Not only that I think facebook knows I hate them because it is the only page that freezes up when I try to do the few things it allows.
Today I plan to stay home and clean, no shopping today unless I get that done. Hmmm I don't see shopping for today.
I got some new tees ordered for some orders that I need to get done. I let my main web site go. I'm trying to find a user friendly site to build.
Now for the photography side of my world. I have a 5 generation, family, and baby session coming up next week. I will be working on some Christmas card layouts and get them posted.

I'm back

I spent the day shopping with my niece, Jessica, my sister and my mom. We had to get some things for the school trip my niece and sister are going on. I didn't get too crazy with the shopping myself, I'm trying to get it under control, I can  relate to " Confessions of a Shopaholic" . My thing was things for my home. Sometimes I slip and get a little crazy but for the most part I control it. Now I ask myself  "Do I really really need this". My hubby is the best, he never says a word, once he looked into the room after one of my spending days and said " Do I want to know how much you spend ", and I said " Only if you want to get real angry ".

I have a new design up on etsy, it is cute and I have a deal going on, get a tee and get a canvas tote for FREE.

Today mom and I went to work at my sister Angie's. We made some key fobs and I worked on the etsy site.
Tonight I made a bean salad and grilled chicken for me and some steaks with mushrooms for DH Billy. I for the recipe for the bean salad on youtube, you can find anything there. I love the makeup tips and checking out decor and I collect Department 56 Christmas houses and I love to see how others deck theirs out. Some people have such talent for that kind of thing. I don't collect the Halloween houses but I wish I had the room for them, they are so cool looking. Maybe some day I'll try a few of them.

Hmmm Is my blog stinky :0

I am kinda new to the blog thing. I have started 2 different threads on etsy about following my blog. People list their info and I go and add them to my contacts. I have about 40 now added and when I look at who has added me I only see 6, what is up with that. When you add someone wouldn't they add you back I guess what I need to do is see the ones that were kind enough to add me, keep them and weed out the ones that don't add me back. I'm  going to give the others about a week ( maybe they don't log on everyday ) and then I will see about knocking that list down.
It's kinda like what's wrong with my blog. Oh well maybe I'm not alone in this.
I got some new long sleeve coming and I put in a order for some more screens this week. I love it when the screen come in ready to use and I don't have to prepare them for the artwork.

Sunday

Today it has rained all day long. I have been working in the house. I plan on doing my whole family's group portraits this autumn when the leaves are at the peak of perfection. Now I am thinking about Christmas cards and how I want to do them this year.
I have some t'shirt orders I need to get ready ( love that ). I think we will add jewelry to the sit. I have always loved making jewelry and I rather have hand made than mass produced jewelry. My sister and I use to make lampwork beads ( glass beads ) that was so much fun.

More Rain

Today we worked on collars ( well the parts that we could until the parts come in ). Angie worked on some treats, Cocoa loved them.
Getting your name out there is not as easy as you might think. We have been working on that so much that I haven't put in the time I need for my clothing line. I will have to set aside some time this weekend for that.

Rain rain go away

Oh my goodness it has been raining like crazy. I ran in to TJ max to get some things and when I came out it was raining so hard by the time I got in my truck my mascara ran so that I looked like a drowned raccoon.
I worked on some photos of my long sleeve T's. Now I need to get some new graphics done, and some screens ready.
We worked on some leashes today.

Monday

Today one of my bags was featured in the bag section on Etsy, I had orders when I got up first thing, got to love that. I've got to get more things listed, I have a design done for autumn but my screens are not ready.
I have been working on my closet and bath, trying to sort out old and get ready for a redo. I'll have to post some before, the process of design, during and after shots for here. I have something in mind but it does not go with my bedroom which is green and brown, but you know what I will be breaking that rule. I think what good is design if it does not make you happy. I still love my room so that will not change.
I don't know what was wrong with me today, I was so sleepy all day, I hate that feeling.

Day with hubby

Today Billy and I went shopping. I wanted to get some photos at the fair but they were closed when we first got to town and after we shopped I was too tired and ready for home. I'm going to try to get some things done tonight for etsy because I have a bag featured tomorrow and I'd like to have more of our things listed. If I get it done I'll try to post it here too.

rings

Today I got the things needed for the rings and a white fabric for the photos. Brooke won't be here this weekend so I think I'll use her room to set up for the pictures.
The parts for the collars came in today. I haven't had a chance to try and make one yet, I'll have to do that tomorrow before the shoot.

Key Fobs

I have been working on key fobs for the last few days, I love them, I have gotten lots of compliments on them. I went to get more ribbon and fabric for more key chains and dog collars and leashes. A few of the long sleeve T's came in today, now I can get started on the autumn designs :)

Our weekend

We had Brooke this weekend. Went to Memphis to do some late birthday shopping for her, she got clothes and you know we had to go to Sephora's ( they had a 80's thing going on ). I don't know what it is but every time first thing I go and check out the latest Kat Von D's stuff ( LOVE it as much as I do MAC ).
Today we went to Jackson then to take Brookie back to Brownsville. Now I am just trying to catch up on all my stuff on line. That is a job in it's own.
